Overview
Lower body lifts are used for patients who have lost a large amount of weight and are left with excess skin and fat that cannot be removed by other means
Lower body lifts treat the parts of the body where there is usually the most skin left over from massive weight loss, including the stomach, buttocks, waist, hips and thighs. Other types of surgery such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction are sometimes used to provide the best results.

Dr Constantine’s Philosophy
on Lower Body Lifts
My aim with lower body lifts is to provide the most natural looking results possible and restore the patient’s body to as close as perfection as can be achieved. By doing a full assessment of each patient’s body type and level of elasticity, I’m able to make the best decisions regarding the techniques to use and scar placement.
What Results Can I Expect?
The results of a lower body lift are apparent immediately, however due to the scarring, swelling and bruising that are part of the procedure, final judgment should be reserved until several months later. The results are long lasting though a healthy weight must be maintained.
Am I a Suitable Candidate?
The best candidates for a lower body lift are those who have lost a large amount of weight, whether due to a gastric band or diet and exercise, and are left with large amounts of excess skin. Ideal candidates should also be free of any medical conditions that would interfere with the healing process. A healthy attitude towards the results that are achievable is also a key factor.
